Biography

With many years of teaching, recording and touring experience, Jeff Moscone is an undeniable talent.  With a triple threat of rudimentary skills, unbounding energy and enthusiasm, Jeff is a drummer’s drummer.

His love for banging on things started at birth, but he began his formal education of drums at the age of 8.

Influenced by bands such as Van Halen, Rush and Journey to name a few, Jeff began his professional career at age 16 where he played in Top 40/Rock bands in the local bar circuit. He was not about to settle there for long though…

After touring the Eastern region of the country for a number of years post High School with established rock bands such as TKO and Person2Person, he played a European tour with Vandetta then set up residence in San Francisco. There Jeff played with, The Peter London Band (US Tours and co-wrote an album) and Days of Rage/About2Break (US Tours and co-wrote an album).  In that time, Jeff shared the stage with National acts such as Fastball, Sponge, Judas Priest, Y&T and Slayer.

Jeff has been on several US tours with the veteran rock group, Jetboy and also Stephen Pearcy of RATT, including high profile rock festivals such as Rocklahoma, South Texas Rock Fest and Rock the Bayou (all with capacity crowds of 50,000) and shared the stage with such legendary bands as Poison, Cinderella, Skid Row, Sammy Hagar, Queensryche and RATT.

Wanting to share the gift of drumming with a new generation, Jeff taught formally at the Music Land School of Music in Fremont, CA and has also given private lessons for throughout his career.

He currently continues to teach, record and perform from his home base in the middle of Rock & Roll Central… Hollywood, California. Since relocating to Hollywood Jeff has not only opened a recording studio pumping out tracks for artists from all around, but has also joined the film industry by writing, acting and producing his first short film entitled, “Final Tears.” A story based on the life of professional musician and what truly happens behind the scenes; the ugly untold tale of love, lies and the ultimate demise of all relationships except for the love of music.

With a dynamic mix of sass, killer chops and a “can-do” attitude, Jeff Moscone is an energetic, open minded individual who is willing to take on any challenge!
